It’s amazing how children grow so fast.Miss V is growing at a lightening speed and now that she is diaper-free, it really seems that she has grown into a big girl. She loves to wear dresses and is crazy about nail polish. Everytime, she see a nail polish bottle she goes “polish polish!”. I love applying polish to those tiny finger nails and toe nails of hers and the sight of how her faces beams everyime she gets to polish her nails is pricesless..these are the things I want to remember 15 years from now and I am sure everytime I think of this it will bring smile to my lips and she will forever be my little girl.
Yesterday, when my wet polish got smudged as she fiddled with my fingers, I just told her to stop fiddling with my nails as she was messing my fresh wet polish. She stared at me, and with her little hand on my head as she was patting me she told me ”It’s okay” ….I was spell bound as I heard that coming out from her mouth. Here is my littel girl who is barely three years old reassuring me that everyithng is going to be okay. I felt like my little girl who was just a baby has really become a big girl …..and I said to myself…..I am so lucky to have her!
